Some companies or Internet Service Providers (ISP) block access to certain ports for security reasons. If you are unable to access your course from work but are able to access it from home, it is possible that you are experiencing firewall related problems. In order to resolve this problem it is recommended that you try using Virtual Private Network (VPN). VPN provides a "Virtual" network connection to NJIT. Therefore, even though you are connected to your ISP, it appears that you are actually connecting from NJIT. For more information about VPN or to download the free software, go to http://telecom.njit.edu/vpn/.
